Prior to LARA, Jessica served as the Chief Strategy Officer and Chief of Staff at the Inter-American Development Bank , the largest development bank for Latin America and the Caribbean. While there, she was the primary advisor to the President and Chairman of the Board on institutional strategy and investment policy, and operations, managed a staff of over 3,000, and a multi-million dollar administrative budget.\u00a0<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
Ms. Bedoya had an illustrious 15-year career in the U.S. Government focused on Latin America and the Caribbean in several high-level capacities. Her prior roles include: Managing Director for the Western Hemisphere and Senior Advisor to the CEO of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC),\u00a0the Deputy Senior Director for Western Hemisphere Affairs at the National Security Council (NSC), the Department of State and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Ms. Bedoya is an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California.<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Previously, Mauricio served as President of the Inter-American Development Bank (\u201cIDB\u201d), which managed a portfolio of $170 billion across Latin America and the Caribbean. During his tenure, the IDB deployed nearly $23.4 billion in capital.<\/div>

Prior to his role at IDB, Mauricio served as Deputy Assistant to the President of the United States and Senior Director for Western Hemisphere Affairs at the National Security Council. In this capacity, he was the U.S. President\u2019s principal advisor on issues related to the Western Hemisphere.<\/div>
